Bryan Stow Beating Suspects Expected in Court Tuesday

The two men accused of the beating that left Giants fan Bryan Stow with permanent brain damage were expected in a Downtown Los Angeles courtroom Tuesday.

Their appearance comes just a day after the city of San Francisco filed a lawsuit against the Dodgers to cover $1.2 million of unpaid medical expenses for Stow.

Eugene Norwood and Louis Sanchez pleaded "not guilty" to a variety of charges associated with the 2011 incident including three felony counts for mayhem, assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury, and battery with serious bodily injury.

Earlier this year, a judge determined that enough evidence existed for a trial to go forward.

Many expect that trial to begin before the end of this year.

KTLA details some of the dramatic testimony that came out of June's preliminary hearing, including the 911 call made by Stow's friend Corey Maciel, and videotape of Marvin Norwood telling his mother he was "involved" with the beating.
