Neighbors, Help Me Save Some Lives
Meet Alexis. She wrote, "I am your neighbor and I hate cancer!" Perhaps you've seen her running around town? She is training for the Nike Women's Marathon and running in memory of an 11-year-old boy who died of Leukemia last month.

"Eradicate The Homeless"
Blogger Rebecca Prine writes in earnest about her effort to help "Eradicate the Homeless" in Northeast L.A. Readers are commenting on her blog post. Let her know your thoughts.

"I am writing to ask you, my neighbors, about your thoughts and/or feelings toward your homeless neighbors and what you believe should be done in our community to address the problem of chronic homelessness. I am reaching out to all of you because it is our community and the solution, I believe, lies with us," she wrote.
