No regard for aesthetics. Typical HLP mentality of old. It's neglectful, penniless property owners like Mr. Cruz that caused the apparently maligned surge of gentrification in HLP. Can't hang in with the up-trend? Sell that ish to someone who'll take care of it.

The local non-profit, I Have a Dream Foundation LA (IHADLA) is fundraising to send their 73 "Dreamer" graduates off to college with dorm room essentials that they could otherwise not afford. IHADLA has been working with this group of students who have achieved academic success since the first grade. By presenting the students with the college essentials , they can worry less about financials, focus on their academics and feel like they are on equal footing with their peers.
