Update: Dead Body Found Near Griffith Observatory Is Possible Suicide
The body is described as belonging to a male.
Update: Police now say that the body found earlier Monday afternoon is a suicide. They say only that the person is male.
Los Angeles Police Department and city Park Rangers are on the scene Monday afternoon below the Griffith Observatory.
Earlier: A dead body was discovered at 1:35 p.m. off a trail according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
