Fire Near Dodger Stadium Early Monday

The EastsiderLA reports that around 6 a.m.a fire broke out in the 1400 block of Avon Terrace in Elysian Heights.

According to LFD Battalion Chief Greg Gibson, the fire started outside the house and spread up into the attic of a hillside bungalow.

The fire was quickly put out, though firefighters had to run hoses up the hill to the home.
