Fire Scorches Echo Park Home

The cause of a vacant house fire Thursday morning in Echo Park remains under investigation.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A fire damaged a vacant house in the Echo Park area Thursday, but no one was hurt.

Firefighters sent to the 3200 block of West London Street at 5:24 a.m. extinguished the flames in the single-story building in 13 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
