Fund for Michael David's Family Now Accepting Donations
The crew that knew "Micky" at Trader Joe's needs your help in building a trust fund for his family.
Enter the Silver Lake Trader Joe's and off to the right, just below the area some call the "pit," you'll see the accompanying picture of Michael "Micky" David" and some text.
It's a call to action from David's colleagues, who've created a trust fund to help his family after the 30-year-old was gunned down May 7 on Sunset Boulevard.
One suspect, Jeffrey Cardona, has been arrested, but the shooter remains at large.

Employees who worked with David won't talk on the record, but they're clearly upset about what happened.
Trader Joe's will also be manning a booth at the July 24 Los Feliz Village Street Fair, and they will be soliciting donations there too.
