Gallery: Silver Lake Howl-O-Ween Doggie Costume Contest Winners

Silver Lake's Fourth annual Howl-O-Ween was the most successful yet, according to co-organizer Rene Natum of the Silverlake Neighborhood Council, which sponsored the event.

An estimated 100 competitiors crowded with family and friends for the judging in the Silver Lake small dog park area Sunday.

Lisa Edelstein (most famously of the show House) was grabbed at the last minute to serve as a celebrity judge.

Prizes included gift certificates provided by local businesses Silverlake Wines and Rockaway Records and others, as well as a choice of photos by local photographer Mara Casey.
