L.A. Marathon Starts at Dodger Stadium Sunday
Runners will also return to Echo Park for a run up Temple Street to Glendale Boulevard. They'll turn on Glendale and then turn left on Sunset.
An estimated more than 20,000 runners will once again make their way through Echo Park and Silver Lake for the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday, March 18.
They'll be following the L.A. Marathon's 26.2-mile “Stadium to the Sea” route, which begins at Dodger Stadium and ends at Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica.
Stretches of Sunset Boulevard, Elysian Park Avenue, Temple Street, Edgeware Road, Bellevue Avenue, Glendale Boulevard, Stadium Way, Alvarado Street, Griffith Park Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard and Fountain Avenue will be closed starting at 4 a.m. until at least 9 a.m.--some through 10:55 a.m.

Parking will not be allowed along the race course. “No Parking” signs will be posted before the event. Vehicles in violation will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
