Los Feliz Umami Closed for Spring Cleaning

The Los Feliz branch of the benchmark burger chain Umami will be taking a time out.

According to a Facebok posting, the respite is planned. It's for Spring Cleaning.

We suspect it may be a play to lure locals downtown, to Umami's new mega-location on Broadway-- the Umamicastessen.

The Umamicastessen, coincidentally, is next to Gary Leonard's Take My Picture Gallery, which is showing

So there are two good reasons to make the trek.
