Night Shift Fires Up at Van Nuys Post Office
Postal workers will take curbside drop offs at 15701 Sherman Way, one of five regional centers open until midnight.
They were already lining up at the curb outside the Van Nuys Post Office Tuesday just before 6 p.m.
Post office workers used cones to shut off a lane of Sherman Way headed west, for cars and other drivers to line up for curbside drops.
According to one postal worker, a smaller crowd than ever was expected, though extra workers had been put on duty.

She speculated Internet filing is keeping more last-minute filers off the streets.
