Silver Lake resident David DeRusha sent us this picture of taken with his younger brother and his father who died last week after a fall in the Angeles National Forest.
Echo Park Patch has been following the story of missinig hiker Henry "Dick" DeRusha.
The body of outdoorsman and teacher was discovered late Monday in a ravine after he did not return from an overnight hike.
David DeRusha, Dick's first son, sent us the above picture of his father with his two sons taken some years ago.

David, now 40, lives in Silver Lake with his wife and three daughters in the same house where he grew up.
David said his father shared his love and knowledge of the outdoors with his children and their friends not only on hikes, but also on sailing and camping trips.

"Someone told me the other day that my father even taught him how to swim, " said David.
