Gentrification, beautification whatever you want to call it: buildings come down, history is lost, property values go up or, sometimes, they go down.

We write about it a lot here in Echo Park Patch. And it does provoke its share of comment on our site and on others.

Look, just today two of our top stories are about possible demolitions, one in Echo Park, another in Silver Lake.

Our neighborhood is changing. And change brings more change. You just can't stop that train.

And so we ask in the following poll: should we? Ulimately, is change good? Is change bad? Sometimes?
