Rampart Crime Report: Jan. 16, 2013

The attached crime map comes to us from the LAPD's Rampart Division, which covers parts of Echo Park, Silver Lake and Los Feliz.

We highlight here the most recent incidents from Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013

Most prominently, these incidents include:

A "strong arm" robbery at 3 pm. at 4850 Santa Monica Blvd., just west of Vermont Avenue

A vehicle stolen from 3408 Sunset Blvd. at 2:30 p.m.near Micheltorena Street

A theft at 4 p.m. at 1926 Clinton St. in Echo Park

These crimes are unusual as thefts usually occur in the early morning hours.
