Silver Lake Jubilee Announces Lineup

Now in its third year, the Silver Lake Jubilee is moving up in the world.

Billing itself as Los Angeles's premier music, arts and food festival, the event takes place May 26-27, 2012.

And with the demise of the Sunset Junction Festival it may well be.

Originally organized as a cozy, springtime alternative to the mega-fest, it moved into new prominence when

It was centered last year at a stage on Myra Street under Sunset Bouelvard.

This year, the Jubilee, which benefits local sports and arts groups, is taking over Santa Monica Boulevard (part of the Sunset Junction landscape).

Ticket prices have climbed too, from $5 to $20 for a day pass.

The Jubilee features with an impressive line up of mostly local talent announced Friday:
