Suspicious Bag Causes Brief Bomb Scare at LAUSD Headquarters
The building was not evacuated and business continued as usual, a district spokeswoman said.

A suspicious bag left on a bus caused a brief bomb scare Friday morning at the Los Angeles Unified School District Headquarters in downtown Los Angeles, police said.
Police received the call of a suspicious bag left on the bus at around 7:46 a.m., said Officer Matthew Ludwig of the Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations Section. The bus stopped in front of the LAUSD headquarters at 333 S. Beaudry Ave., he said.
The bomb squad was called and found the bag contained only clothing, Ludwig said.
