Beautiful Music: Violin, Cello Artists Perform at Sts. Constantine and Helen
The Julliard-trained string players are among the best in America's baroque scene.
Two musicians of enormous talent will present a chamber concert of baroque classics next month at a landmark church.
Violinist Adriane Post and cellist Paul Dwyer will play selections by Bach, Handel, Couperin and Corelli at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Cardiff-by-the-sea.
Post is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and earned a master’s degree in historical performance from The Julliard School. She is among the best baroque violinists in America, and is a member of Apollo’s Fire, the Trinity Wall Street Baroque Orchestra, the Washington National Cathedral Baroque Orchestra.

Dwyer holds a doctorate in musical arts from the University of Michigan, and is also is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and earned a master’s degree in historical performance from The Julliard School. He is a Fulbright Fellow, and the recipient of the Javits Fellowship and the Presser Award, which honors those who show outstanding promise for a distinguished career in music.
The concert is presented by St. Katherine College and Sts. Constantine and Helen church in collaboration with the Musical Oratory Foundation, which provides high-quality concerts, in-depth lectures, and innovative lecture-performances throughout the Southern California.

The event is free, though a $20 donation to benefit both the college and educational programs at the church are suggested.
The performance is scheduled for 5 p.m. Oct. 6 at the church, 3459 Manchester Ave., Cardiff-by-the-Sea.
