Chef to Lead Tour of Encinitas Farmers' Market
Learn to shop like a chef at the March 13 Encinitas Station Certified Farmers' Market.

If you want to learn to shop like a chef, you’ll have your chance to learn to do just that at next week’s Encinitas Station Certified Farmers' Market.
Executive chef Monica Szepesy, of Q’ero restaurant will lead a tour of the Wednesday evening market, 5:30 p.m. March 13, according to market director Carris Rhodes.
“Not only is Szepesy a regular shopper at the market, it is her goal to incorporate produce from the market into her restaurant menu. This takes thoughtfulness and time on her part,” Rhodes stated. “In this exclusive tour, participants will get a behind the scenes look at how chefs pick produce and how they might serve unusual items you find at farmers markets.”
