Community Resource Center Director Recognized by Encinitas Coastal Rotary

Laurin Pause, Executive Director of Community Resource Center, received the Encinitas Coastal Rotary’s 2013 Peacemaker Award for her work in domestic violence prevention and community involvement in supporting those less fortunate. 

Since taking the helm as CRC’s Executive Director in 2004, Laurin has been instrumental in changing the face of Community Resource Center, an organization providing families in need and victims of domestic violence with safety, stability and a path to self-sufficiency. 

Since 1981, Rotary International has been recognizing Peacemakers from all over the world. Past recipients have included Nelson Mandela and Jimmy Carter.
