Community Resource Center Needs Your Help Filling Holiday Baskets

The program provides approximately 1,700 local families in need with food, coats, blankets, and gifts for children and more during the holiday season.

The following is from the Community Resource Center website

Holiday Baskets is the largest distribution program of its kind in San Diego County and provides a dignified and free “shopping experience” for families who might otherwise receive nothing for the holidays.  The program now provides approximately 1,700 local families in need with food, coats, blankets, and gifts for children and more during the holiday season.

Want to make a difference?  We need volunteers to help gather various items that we distribute.  Organize a collection at work, school, or your service club.  Make a family tradition of going through closets for outgrown jackets/coats, forgotten blankets, or bikes collecting cobwebs in the garage!
