DEMA Announces 29th Annual Encinitas April Street Fair
The weekend-long event will feature live music, about 450 vendors, and plenty of fun.

Are you in the mood for some free family fun and entertainment? Then make your way to the 29th Annual Encinitas April Street Fair on Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29.
The fair opens at 9 a.m. and will close at 5 p.m. both days. There will be something for everyone with roughly 450 vendors selling clothes, accessories, plants, household products, environmental products, art, antiques, home décor, and of course, a variety of delicious food. So grab a snack and peruse the booths: You may just find that perfect gift for Mother’s Day!

The Street Fair features four live music stages which will showcase a variety of bands, solo artists, and performers each day. Head on over to the Beer Garden for some tasty brews on tap from none other than San Diego’s very own Stone Brewing Company. The renowned brewery will be once again be sponsoring the Beer Garden Stage featuring music by Retro Rockets, Shoreline Rootz, Rhythm Method, and Bill Magee Blues Band. Please remember to drink responsibly.
Make your way to the Lumberyard Courtyard Stage to hear Josiah and the Uplift Band, Rodello’s Machine, Bell Pepperz, and Blue Moonies and dance with your family, friends, and neighbors! You can still enjoy the music while shopping at any of the fabulous stores or while having lunch at one of the remarkable restaurants along Coast Highway 101. Don’t forget to visit the Encinitas School of Music Stage and the Community Stage for an array of wonderful performances.

In the 7-Eleven Parking Lot, located on D Street and Highway101, the Encinitas Fire Department will have their Annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 28 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Come support our local firefighters and enjoy a delicious breakfast!
Suggested parking spots are at City Hall, located on Vulcan Avenue; the Moonlight Beach Parking lot, located on Third Street; and the two Coaster Station parking lots – Vulcan and D Street, and Vulcan and E Street. Want to avoid parking hassles? Take the North County Transit District Coaster (NCTD)! The Encinitas stop is only one block away from the fair and NCTD will be offering 2-for-1 fares on both Saturday and Sunday.
