
This weekend five bucks will buy you pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and the satisfaction of knowing you helped support some of our local kids.
Saturday morning marks the 8th Annual City of Encinitas Youth Basketball Pancake Breakfast, which helps raise money to keep the sports program running. Volunteers with the Greater Encinitas Kiwanis Club are lending a hand to flip all those pancakes and top-off those coffees, too.
There will also be a silent auction fundraiser with several great prizes to bid on that include autographed sports memorabilia and golf packages.

Breakfast will be from 7 to 11 a.m. in the banquet hall of the Tickets for this event are available at the Community Center.
