Encinitas Blaze Pizza Goes All In For Pi Day With $3.14 Pizza Pies

ENCINITAS, CA — Encinitas Blaze Pizza fans, we've found you a Pi Day pizza deal. On March 14, Blaze Pizza is celebrating Pi Day with specially priced 11-inch pizza pies.

Encinitas's Blaze Pizza, located at 127 N. El Camino Real is hosting the $3.14 pi day pizza deal on all Build Your Own 11-inch personal pizzas.

The offer is valid for in-restaurant orders on March 14 only and is for all current and new rewards members, a spokesperson for the chain said.

"When you download the app, select your favorite Blaze Pizza location," The Blaze Pizza website reads. "Then come and enjoy the Pi Day Party with us in the restaurant. Some restrictions apply!"

Pi Day is the annual celebration of the mathematical sign, pi, based upon the date (3.14). It also happens to be Albert Einstein's birthday, according to History.com. Physicist Larry Shaw was the first to celebrate Pi Day in 1988, but it became a national holiday in 2009.

Unfortunately, most Blaze Pizzas won't be open at the official start of Pi Day (9:26:53 a.m.), but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying a slice of pizza pie for a great deal.
