Encinitas City Council Nods To April's National Poetry Month
Poetry was recently lauded in the city of Encinitas this April.

ENCINITAS, CA —The Encinitas city council recently proclaimed April National Poetry Month.
Mayor Tony Kranz discussed the proclamation, calling upon public officials, educators, librarians, and all the people of Encinitas to observe this month and celebrate the cultural riches our community has to offer, according to a recent statement from the city.
Kranz also added that it was essential to recognize poetry's important role in creating and sustaining our way of life.
