ENCINITAS, CA — The Cottage Restaurant, of La Jolla fame, recently celebrated its Encinitas ribbon cutting, the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce announced.

Located at 127 North El Camino Real in Encinitas, The Cottage is known for serving amazing brunches for 30 years. The restaurant, founded in 1985 in La Jolla, quickly became a local hangout there. The business hit its stride in 1992, and was fully renovated in 2009, according to the restaurant's website. Over the summer, they expanded to Encinitas.

"What hasn't changed is our passion for serving tasty, classic American and Southern California influenced food," according to manager Trevor LeClair on the restaurant's website. LeClair invites customers to "say hello next time you come in."
