Encinitas Mayor Asks Residents to Help City Win Challenge

The City of Encinitas is in third place in the Wyland Foundation's National Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation.  

The challenge measures online pledges of residents who promise to conserve water and take care of the environment in other ways. The city with the highest percentage of pledges wins.

Mayor Teresa Barth is asking residents to make pledges online to help Encinitas win.

Residents from the winning cities are entered to with such prizes as a Toyota Prius and a Lowe's gift card.

The process takes about a minute and should be done at www.mywaterpledge.com before April 30^th.
