Family of Toddler Killed by a Car in Encinitas Speaks Out
The family of a 3-year-old boy who was hit and killed by a car in Encinitas Friday, spoke exclusively to CBS News 8 about their heartbreaking loss.
Encinitas Patch reported on Friday that 3-year-old Juan Ruiz was killed on Encinitas Blvd. while walking next to his mother when he darted into the street shortly before 7:30 a.m.

A memorial with flowers and stuffed animals has been set up at the site of the accident. Friends are working on setting up an account where donations can be made for the upcoming funeral, reported CBS 8.
