Last Chance: City Commission, Garden Contest

Here are a few fast-approaching deadlines you may not want to miss.

Deadlines can easily fall off your radar and through the cracks. Every week Encinitas Patch is here to help with Last Chance, a rundown of some windows of opportunity closing this week.

Here’s the scoop for Encinitas this week:

  • The San Diego Botanic Gardens is hosting a Victorian-themed tea party for little girls and their mothers and grandmothers. ‘Mistress Molly Quigley’ will serve as hostess for the April 9 teatime, but if you want to snag a seat, you need to register by April 5.
  • If you’re a San Dieguito Water District customer with a water-wise garden that’s worth bragging about, you can enter a photo of it in the California Friendly Landscape Contest. The winner gets a $250 gift certificate, and all entries are due by Friday, April 6.

Know of another looming deadline? Tell us in the comments and we’ll make sure to share it with the community.
