Man Seeks Information on 1960s Time Capsule at the La Costa Park & Ride
Former Leucadia resident Dave Naylor says a time capsule was placed near the old stone water fountain in the 1960s and was to be opened 50 years later.
A Patch reader is asking for help finding information for a time capsule that was placed in the La Costa Park & Ride, Carlsbad, in the 1960s. It was to be opened 50 years later.
Dave Naylor—then a Leucadia resident—was five years old and the capsule was to be opened in 50 years, according to the blog post.
It was placed near the old stone drinking fountain, he added.
