Meechie the Kitten is a Social Butterfly Who Needs a Good Home
The Pet of the Week is "Meechie" cat. Only 7 months old and he's already 13 pounds. Not overweight. Just a big kitty that's still growing.
"Meechie” is the pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. He’s a 7 month old, 13 pound, neutered, male, Domestic Short Hair kitty.
Right now he’s sharing a room in the RCHS cattery with three other cats. All four of the cats in the room are very social, but you can bet that Meechie will be the first one to run up and greet you when you walk in the door. He really likes playing with the other cats and he loves his mouse toy. Meechie has lived with a dog in the past and he was fine with that. The only thing that really scares him is the vacuum cleaner.
Meechie and his friend, Kailey, were surrendered to RCHS when their family moved to a place that doesn’t allow pets. They can be adopted together or separately. The $100 adoption fee for Meechie includes medical exam, up to date vaccinations, neuter, and microchip identification.
