Meet our Pet of the Week: Greyhound/Shepherd Mix Named Ruby
If you need a walking partner or running buddy, Ruby would be happy to join you. You're going to need some toys. Ruby loves playing with dog toys.
"Ruby” is the pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. She’s a 1 year old, 54 pound, spayed, female, Greyhound / Shepherd mix. Ruby has a beautiful, red fur coat and a big smile. She loves other dogs. If you need a walking partner or running buddy, Ruby would be happy to join you. If you’re going for a ride in the car, she’s ready to go along. Ruby is a dog who wants to please her family. You’re going to need some toys. Ruby loves playing with dog toys. And when you need a break from all the activity, just offer her a treat. She’s very smart and she loves showing off her tricks. She knows “sit and shake” and she would be happy to learn more.
Ruby was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another facility through the Friends of County Animal Shelters program. The $145 adoption fee includes medical exam, up to date vaccinations, spay, and microchip identification. Adopt Ruby or sponsor a pet until its new family takes it home.
