A motorcyclist was found with potentially life-threatening injuries after an accident in Cardiff-by-the-Sea Sunday evening.
The 44-year-old rider was traveling eastbound on the 3300 block of Manchester Avenue, just west of Mira Costa College and apparently struck a street sign, according to San Diego Sheriff’s Deputy Anthony O’Boyle.
The rider was found on the side of the road and his Harley Davidson motorcycle landed on dry land in the San Elijo Lagoon, O’Boyle added.
