Pet Haus Hosting Grand Opening Celebration in Encinitas Saturday

, a one-stop-shop for pets, recently opened its doors in the Santa Fe Plaza Shopping Center, across the street from Scripps Memorial Hospital.
Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. the store will host its grand opening celebration that’s chockfull of discounts and freebies (details at the bottom of the story).
The store carries healthy, high-end pet food (including raw varieties), toys, treats, supplies, and accessories. There’s also a state of the art do-it-yourself washing facility for dogs, cats, and maybe the occasional pot-bellied pig. The store is also committed to helping local animal rescue groups by offering them support and partnering in various efforts.

- Several raffle prizes will be up for grabs, including a beach cruiser, pet gift baskets, an aquarium, and a one year supply of Advantage II Flea & Tick medication—just to name a few.
- There will be a 15 percent discount throughout the store that day, and if you spend more than $30, you get a free self-service dog wash. Customers can also enjoy free refreshments throughout the day.
- If you’re looking to add a new furry family member, there will be a handful of local rescue group conducting onsite pet adoptions.
- Several vendors will be at the store talk about pet health, do product demos and handout free goodies.
