Breed: American Bulldog - American Staffordshire Terrier mix

As with many white dogs, Meatball is deaf.  He doesn't seem to mind that he can't hear. He'll give you his big, happy, goofball smile—and is brimming with pure love. So far, Meatball has become fast friends with everyone he’s met, and that includes dogs and humans.
He's a very strong dog and round like, well, a meatball—hence his name. He's going to do best with an active family that either has experience with a deaf dog, or is willing to learn doggie sign language.

Meatball's $125 adoption fee includes medical exam, up to date vaccinations, neuter, and his microchip identification.

To meet Meatball, log on to SDpets.org, call 760-753-64-13, or visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas. Kennels are open Wednesday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
