Pet of the Week: 'Salami' is Well Behaved and Cuddles
Salami is a 3-year-old, 29-pound Dachshund.

Rancho Coastal Humane Society:
Salami may be a "wiener dog," but after a few too many treats he's a little bit stuffed. So, for now, his name is Salami until his new family adopts him, takes him home, and he drops a couple pounds thanks to plenty of walks and regular family activity.

This wiener dogs is called Salami because she’s been stuffing herself with snacks. It wouldn’t hurt her to lose a couple pounds. All she needs is a few more walks and a few less doggie treats.
Salami was transferred to RCHS from another animal shelter through the FOCAS program. While we don’t know her previous family, it’s obvious that Salami has had great care, is well behaved, had some training, and she loves to cuddle. If you’re sitting on the couch with your husband, wife, or kids….you’re probably going to have a “Salami sandwich.”
