Pet of the Week: Sweeter than a Happy Hour Drink

"Bahama Mama” is the pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. She’s a 2-1/2 year old, 16 pound, spayed, female, Beagle / Dachshund mix.                

Bahama Mama was transferred to RCHS through the Friends of Animal Shelters (FOCAS) program. She’s a pretty girl and she almost always has a smile on her furry little face.   

The $145 adoption fee for Bahama Mama includes medical exam, up to date vaccinations, spay, and microchip. One of the first things that people notice about Bahama Mama is her smile. It reminds us of a quote from Mother Teresa. “Let us meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love.” That’s what Bahama Mama is waiting for. She sits in her kennel watching people pass by. She just needs one family to see her smile and realize that she needs to be their dog.

Bahama Mama was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another shelter through the FOCAS program.
