Readers’ Choice: Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Encinitas

Who says you leave town for a proper St. Patrick’s Day party? Some of our local businesses are planning to get in on the festivities with celebrations and specials this weekend—and we want to know which one you think takes the cake. Vote in our poll and tell us where in Encinitas you plan to be Irish for a day.

Here are a few St. Patrick’s Day celebrations happening in Encinitas that we have on our radar. If we're forgetting any, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it to the list:

  • will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day from March 16 through 18 with several specials on Irish beer and food throughout the weekend.
  • will also be celebrating the holiday Saturday night with a $6 corned beef sandwiches and tacos, as well as live music that night.
  • will be also be getting in on the festivities with green beer all day and night.
  • Self-proclaimed “hand clapping, foot stomping hooligans” the Shantyannes will be playing , which will also be running drink specials in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. 
  • And though it’s not an obvious pick, will be getting in on the holiday fun with corned beef nachos, tortas and tacos—as well as shamrock martinis, and green beer and margaritas, too.
