Saturday in Cardiff: Star Wars Meets Ice Cream Challenge
volunteers are preparing to serve a whopping 2,000 scoops on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cardiff Elementary.

In anticipation of one of North County’s most endeared family fundraisers, volunteers are preparing to serve a whopping 2,000 scoops on Saturday, May 4 from 10 am – 3 pm. Coincidentally occurring on National Star Wars Day, Cardiff Schools embraced the opportunity to theme the event “May the Fourth Be With You” so families can rev up the fun by coming dressed as their favorite Star Wars character.
Chair, Michelle Martini - Brown, said “Although this is a long standing event, we’re shaking things up with several new activities including a rock climbing wall and bungee trampoline.”

Wristband packages are available for unlimited fun in the Activity Zone at $30 each or 2 for $50 and include: Unlimited Jumpy, Combo Jumpy, Slide and Obstacle Course plus 10 additional tickets, 1 rock climb, 1 petting zoo admission and 1 bungee trampoline per band. The event is designed to offer a whole day of family fun including yummy lunch choices from our amazing sponsors: Surf Brothers Teriyaki, Seaside Market, East Coast Pizza, Rimel’s & Zenbu.

The action continues with opportunity drawings, live music, the ever popular cake walk and the chance to show off your moves with this year’s dance craze - the Harlem Shake - at 1 pm.
