Starbucks to Sell Beer and Wine at Some Southern California Locations

The company announced Monday its plan to start selling beer and wine at about five of its Southern California locations before the end of the year.
Starbucks also plans to run a test market in Atlanta and Chicago — and is already trying the concept at five stores in Seattle and one in Portland.

Those beer and wine offerings won’t be available until afternoon and will vary by region, according to Associated Press.
The extended menu will include more than just booze, however. Starbucks is also rolling out a small plates menu with 'premium foods', like hot flatbread sandwiches.

No word yet on which locations in Southern California will be selected for the test market, but Patch will keep you posted.
