Taste Of Encinitas To Return In August
The event will feature tastes from local restaurants, beer and wine samples, and live music along Coast Highway 101 in downtown Encinitas.

ENCINITAS, CA — Get a taste of Encinitas during the 32nd annual Taste of Encinitas Aug. 31. The event will feature tastes from local restaurants, beer and wine samples, and live music along Coast Highway 101 in downtown Encinitas.
Tickets went on sale Monday for the event, which is organized by Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association.
"We're so excited to announce 32 years of showcasing all the delicious eats and shopping that downtown Encinitas has to offer," said Irene Pyun, executive director of Encinitas 101. "Downtown will be buzzing that night with live music on every block so make sure to come down!"

More than 20 restaurants are participating in this year's event, according to Encinitas 101. There will also be 12 beer and wine Sip Stops hosted by shops, offices and salons. In addition to the Sip Stops, Taste of Encinitas will offer locations serving non-alcoholic beverages, such as sparkling water, soda and juice.
Taste of Encinitas is slated 5:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 31.

Tickets can be purchased online and at the Encinitas 101 office at 818 S. Coast Highway 101. Tickets cost $40 and include all food and 10 drink sample tickets. Same-day tickets cost $50, but the event has sold out in advance in the past.
