Teslas Spray-Painted With Swastikas At Dealership In Encinitas
Several windows of the dealership were also spray-painted with swastikas and profanity, officials said.
ENCINITAS, CA — A Tesla dealership and multiple cars were vandalized in northern San Diego County, authorities said.
Deputies driving by the Encinitas dealership shortly after 5 a.m. Monday spotted multiple cars spray-painted with swastikas, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office. In addition, several windows of the building at 1302 Encinitas Blvd. had been spray-painted with swastikas and profanity, sheriff's Lt. Zheath Sanchez said.
As of Monday afternoon, no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made in the vandalism at the Encinitas dealership.

A protest was held outside the dealership Saturday. Protests took place at Tesla showrooms nationwide as part of the "Tesla Takedown" movement, with protesters pushing to boycott against Elon Musk's company and rallying against federal funding cuts.
Anyone with information about the vandalism was asked to call the sheriff's office at 858-868-3200.
