Boundaries Meeting Wednesday

To Encino Village neighbors:

The City Council is scheduled to vote at its Wednesday, June 13, 2012 meeting to approve the redrawn City Council boundaries.  The residential areas of Encino would all be included in one district, Council District 5, currently represented by Councilmember Paul Koretz.  Encino would be the only Valley portion of this district, the rest being "over the hill."  All of the Sepulveda Basin east and north of Encino Village would be in a different district, Council District 6, currently represented by Councilmember Tony Cardenas (who is running for Congress in November).
