Encino Home-Invasion Of 'Real Housewife' Caught On Camera
Police hope someone will recognize the three men who broke into Dorit Kemsley's Encino home and threatened to kill her.

ENCINO, CA — Home-invasion robbers, who targeted the Encino home of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Dorit Kemsley, are staring in their own bit of reality TV today after Los Angeles Police released surveillance footage of the crime.
Authorities hope someone will recognize the trio of robbers, who shattered a glass door and allegedly threatened to kill the 45-year-old fashion designer who was with her two young children when the attack occurred. The harrowing attack occurred at about 10:50 p.m. on Oct. 27 in the 17000 block of Adlon Road Encino Reservoir, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
"The victim was inside the residence at the time and was confronted by the suspects," according to a police statement. "Both suspects threatened to kill her as she pleaded for her life and the lives of her young children."

According to police, the victim complied with the robbers' demands and directed them to valuables inside the home. They made off with handbags, jewelry and watches "with a significant monetary loss," according to police. The security video shows them hauling large bundles to a waiting truck before fleeing in a black truck.
TMZ reported that Kemsley was asleep when the break-in occurred, and her two children, son Jagger and daughter Phoenix, were in the home at the time, but none were injured. According to TMZ, Kemsley's husband, Paul, was out of town on a business trip when the robbery occurred.

Police described the suspects only as men between 20 and 30 years old, wearing black hoodies and dark pants.

Kemsley, a native of Connecticut, founded the Beverly Beach swimwear line in 2017, later expanding the company to include athletic wear and accessories, as well as wedding gowns.
