Encino Woman Arrested In Prostitution Bust
A 17-year-old girl was rescued and three suspected prostitutes and two suspected customers were arrested Tuesday night.
POMONA, CA — A 17-year-old girl was rescued while three suspected prostitutes and two accused male customers were arrested Tuesday evening in a prostitution sting in Pomona.
Officers conducted the operation in the Holt Avenue corridor and arrested the suspects who were attempting to engage in sexual acts, according to Lt. Eddie Vasquez of the Pomona Police Department.
Police took into custody Angelina Susan Bennett, 27, of Apple Valley, Robert Diaz, 50, of Pomona, Antonio Magana Lopez, 57, of La Puente, Nicole Sharonda Patrick, 19, of Los Angeles and Kelly Marie Wibbering, 24, of Encino. All were booked at the Pomona city jail, Vazquez said.

The 17-year-old girl resides in San Bernardino and was taken into protective custody and released to the Department of Children and Family Services of San Bernardino County, Vazquez said.
Minors found in prostitution sweeps are customarily turned over to social service agencies instead of being arrested.
