Multi-Home Garage Sale in Encino Saturday

A large neighborhood garage sale is scheduled for Saturday at 4933 Noeline Ave. in Encino.

Eighteen houses from Hayvenhurst to Densmore avenues are participating in the sale, to be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“I just thought it would be a good way to get people to clean out their closets, and I did all the heavy lifting,” said sale organizer Jodie Francisco, a Realtor with Prudential California Realty in Encino. She also posted ads, signs and distributed lists of all the homes (see attached).

The cash-only event will have merchandise organized and well-displayed, Francisco said.

The following items will be sold: Sporting goods, women's clothes, shoes, baby clothes, toys, DVDs, CDs, furniture, kitchen appliances, gadgets and tableware, bedding sets, Christmas decorations and more. 

“There might be a lemonade stand for charity, but the sale is just for the homeowners,” she said.
