Valley Masonic Lodge Aids Fire Victims

To fulfill Masonic charitable goals and ideals, Masons help the community ... especially but not only at this time.

Clarence F. Smith Daylight Lodge No. 866, F. & A.M. (“CFS”), which meets in Van Nuys, has stepped up to help provide some of the necessities of life to fire victims here in Southern California who have lost everything.

The image above shows just one of the deliveries of in-kind donations from CFS Masons, this load having been brought to the Santa Anita Donation Center on Sunday, January 12, 2025.

The three principle tenets of Freemasonry are Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. Thus Masons provide relief not only to other Masons and their families when needed, but also to the community at large, especially but not only in disaster situations such as the Southern California fires.
