Whiz Kids: St. Cyril Spelling Bee Champs
Four participants from Encino triumphed in the Knights of Columbus Spelling Bee.
Whiz Kids: Scott Simpson, Tatiana Hage, Sophia Amir and Julia Matthews
School: St. Cyril of Jerusalem
Accomplishment: These four students participated in the Knights of Columbus Spelling Bee over the past two weeks. Students in first through eighth grades from many Catholic elementary schools competed against each other, and St. Cyril kids did extremely well. Scott, Tatiana and Sophia each earned first place, while Julia took second.
