Willauer-Contributing Writer-Friday, September 19, 2025-Jack Ashby Field at Grizzly Stadium-Mission Hills High School-San Marcos, CA-In a battle of 3-0 football teams until the end of the game the Grizzlies of Mission Hills ranked sixth in the San Diego Football Rankings put on an outstanding display of football with 2 key interceptions for touchdowns by Xavier St. John for 25 yards and teammate John Garcia 82 yarder for a pick 6 as they defeated the previously undefeated Eagles of Granite Hills by a 31-21 score.
Pat Fleming (89 yards rushing) contributed on a 4 yard run. Penn State bound Troy Huhn 216 yard passing threw a 42 yard touchdown pass to Josh Gonzales(83 yards receiving). TJ Baker's 27 yard field goal.
Granite HIlls in 3-1 performers: QB Zachary Benitez 294 yards passing along with 3 touchdown passes. Davion Williams rushed for 85 yards. Noah Walker 79 yards receiving 1 touchdown reception of 22 yards. Rocket Demery 52 yards receiving along with a 20 yard touchdown and teammate Emilio Vera 1 touchdown.
