Two Motorists Arrested During Overnight Escondido DUI Checkpoint
Fifteen others were also cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended/revoked license, officials said.
ESCONDIDO, CA — Two motorists were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs during an overnight driver's license/sobriety checkpoint in Escondido, authorities said Sunday.
The checkpoint at Centre City Parkway and Decatur Way began at 6 p.m. Saturday and concluded at 1 a.m., according to Lt. Scott Walters of the Escondido Police Department.
Fifteen motorists were cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended/revoked license, Walters said.
