3 Running for Fair Oaks Honorary Mayor

Money raised goes to charity. The winner will be announced Sept. 11.

Who will be the next Honorary Mayor of Fair Oaks? We won't know until Sept. 11, but three people are vying for the title.

Steven Danford, Millie Finch and Thomas Reid are all hoping to be named the 2013 Honorary Mayor of Fair Oaks, according to the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce.

Every vote equals one dollar with half of the proceeds going back to a charity of the candidate's choice.

The winner will be announced at the Honorary Mayor Reception & Mixer, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at the North Ridge Country Club, 7600 Madison Ave., Fair Oaks.

The current Honorary Mayor of Fair Oaks is Kathy Jones
